〜ECOMMIT, a company that builds infrastructure for the collection and redistribution of unwanted items toward a recycling-oriented society, has started to install "PASSTO," a system for collecting, sorting, and redistributing unwanted items at condominiums for sale in order to reduce waste in the residential housing business.
(Head Office: Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture; CEO: Teruyuki Kawano; hereinafter "ECOMMIT"), a company that builds infrastructure for the collection and redistribution of unwanted items toward a recycling-oriented society, has launched "PASSTO," a housing project promoted by Tokyo Tatemono Co. (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Hitoshi Nomura, President & CEO; hereinafter "Tokyo Tatemono") as a collaborative partner in the "Waste Free Life Project," an initiative to reduce waste in the housing business toward the realization of a recycling-oriented society.
As a specific initiative, we started collecting unwanted items in the common areas of condominiums at the end of December 2023, utilizing the "PASSTO" scheme provided by ECOMMIT, which performs collection, sorting, and redistribution in a single step. We aim to expand the number of properties subject to this scheme in the future.
