Akira Sakano, CSO and Senior Executive Officer at ECOMMIT, has been selected as a Young Global Leader (YGL) 2025 by the World Economic Forum.

We are pleased to announce that Akira Sakano, CSO (Chief Sustainability Officer) and Senior Executive Officer of ECOMMIT, has been selected as one of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders (YGL) for 2025. The World Economic Forum is known for hosting the annual Davos meeting, where global leaders in politics and economics gather.

A total of 114 individuals were selected for the YGL Class of 2025, including four from Japan, with Sakano being one of them.
