(Mayor: Hideki Nagato; hereinafter "Sakai City"), which is implementing the "Sakai 4Rs Operation for Waste Reduction, "*¹ a project that concentrates on waste reduction, have signed an agreement to promote environmentally friendly resource recycling by utilizing their respective resources and functions, as the first such initiative in Osaka Prefecture. The agreement aims to provide citizens with opportunities to "reuse" unwanted household items instead of disposing of them as garbage, and to serve as a catalyst for fostering reuse awareness and behavior change among people of all ages.
