ECOMMIT, a recycling trading company, signs a partnership agreement with Yakushima Town, celebrating the 30th anniversary of its registration as a World Natural Heritage site, and Maruyama Kinosuke Shoten, a total recycling company celebrating its 107th year in business, to reduce waste generation.

ECOMMIT co,. ltd(Head office: Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture; President: Teruyuki Kawano; hereinafter "ECOMMIT"), an environmental venture company that creates a mechanism for the circulation of goods, has concluded an "Agreement on Cooperation and Collaboration to Reduce Waste Generation" with the Town of Yakushima (Location: Yakushima Town, Kumage County, Kagoshima Prefecture; Mayor: Koji Araki; hereinafter "Yakushima Town") and Kinosuke Maruyama Shoten Co. (Head office: Hioki-shi, Kagoshima Prefecture; President: Akinori Maruyama; hereinafter "Maruyama Kinosuke Shoten") on March 24, 2023, in an "Agreement on Collaboration and Cooperation to Reduce Waste Generation. Based on this agreement, the three parties will work together to promote the reduction of waste generation in Yakushima Town in order to contribute to the creation of a sustainable island of Yakushima Town, a World Heritage site.
