ECOMMIT Participates in Policy Proposal by the JAPAN SUSTAINABLE FASHION ALLIANCE to Promote Sustainability in the Fashion Industry

ECOMMIT, a member of the JAPAN SUSTAINABLE FASHION ALLIANCE, contributed to the development of a policy proposal titled “Policy Recommendations for Promoting Sustainability in the Fashion Industry,” published on June 30, 2025.

This proposal was submitted on the same day to the alliance’s public partners—the Consumer Affairs Agency and the Ministry of the Environment—and is scheduled to be submitted to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in the near future.

As the chair of the Policy Recommendation Committee within the alliance, ECOMMIT played a leading role in drafting the proposal.
